Service Announcement
This is the kind of post a restaurant owner never likes to write, but after a lot of soul searching over the past year, Adobo will close its lunch and dinner service at the end of this month. Our last day of service will be Saturday June 28, from 12pm - 9pm.

I’m deeply saddened to come to this decision, but I know that it’s the right move for me and my family. Time is precious, and I need to focus my time on my growing family at home.

While this feels like the end of a chapter, I look back with immense pride and satisfaction at what we’ve accomplished in these five short years: growing from an instagram page in 2018 to a pop-up to a brick-and-mortar restaurant, hosting numerous Fil-Am Fests totaling over a hundred Fil-Am vendors and thousands of attendees, being featured in prominent publications such as the AJC, Atlanta Magazine, Eater ATL, Yelp ATL, WABE, TFC, and most recently Bon Appetit, and serving thousands of bowls of adobo, trays of lumpia, and bbq skewers to our friends, family, and customers.

I am forever grateful and humbled to help shape the Filipino food scene in ATL. Know that I am not going anywhere- I will always support my community just as it has supported me- with warmth, compassion, and generosity.

Thank you to my staff, and to all who have helped at my pop-ups, catering, and restaurant over the years. Thank you to my wife, family, and friends who have supported and inspired me throughout this journey. And thank you most of all to my customers for giving us a chance and believing in us. Salamat po sa inyong lahat!

Adobo is closing its doors, but the ATL Filipino food scene is here to stay, y’all!

Filipino cuisine is largely under-represented in the South, and Adobo wants to change that. By offering a thoughtful and new approach to Filipino-American food, Adobo aims to share the unique flavors and culture of the Philippines and celebrate all that it has to offer.
